Maintenance tips for roof hatches

Bringing more green lighting to your urban and rural areas, heading for the brighter future.

1. Lubrication accessories (middle hung window)
For good operation, it is recommended to keep the middle suspension shaft and the butterfly impact lock page clean, remove the dust and sand on them, and add lubricating oil. It is recommended to maintain it once a year according to the local environment.
2. Clean the drain board
For areas with a lot of sandstorms and roofs with many fallen leaves, the residual leaves and debris around the drainage board should be removed every year. Make the rainwater drain smoothly.
3. Maintain the wooden frame
The material of the roof hatch has been treated with anti-corrosion, termite-proof and environmentally friendly water-based paint. For your better use, it is recommended to protect the wooden frame (such as brushing water-based paint) within six months after the roof hatch is installed. Maintenance is recommended at least every three years depending on environmental conditions.
NOTE: Do not apply varnish to weather strips and mechanical parts.
4. Scrub the roof hatch (center-hung window)
Open the roof hatch, turn the retaining fan 160°, and insert the latch on the retaining fan into the socket in the lower part of the window frame to scrub the glass on the outside of the window.
